Luiz Felipe Scolari has been dismissed as manager of Chelsea with immediate effect. Brazilian Scolari, 60, was appointed last summer as the replacement for Avram Grant.
He led his country to World Cup glory in 2002 before taking charge of Portugal for Euro 2004, leading them to the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2006. Just shows that money can't buy you a title. Martin O'Neill with less than half the budget of Chelsea is showing them how it's done.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has now overseen the departure of four managers since his arrival in 2003. Assistant Coach Ray Wilkins will take charge of the team on a temporary basis.
Who do you think would take the job now?
